The Manteca Bean Company facility was located in the community of Manteca at the corner of Grant Avenue and Moffat Boulevard (State Highway 99 in past years).  It was located across the street from the Tidewater Southern Railway depot, and near the terminus of the Manteca Branch.  It was a corrugated metal siding building on a raised foundation, with concrete silos located at the rear of the building.  The rail siding serviced both Manteca Bean and a packing shed located north of the building.  In later years, the structure was purchased by Golden Grain (the noodle people) and its parent company Quaker Oaks.  The following photographs were taken in October of 1991.  The trackage was removed several years later and the building was demolished soon thereafter.
